Privacy Policy

Overview

TalentMovers ("we", "us") is an AI resume builder operated by TalentMovers Consulting Pvt. Ltd. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. Using the service means you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, and password (handled by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your raw password).
• Resume content: any resume you upload (PDF/DOCX) or build in the editor: work history, education, skills, and contact details you choose to include.
• Job descriptions you paste in for AI matching/rewrite suggestions.
• Billing data: transaction records, plan/coupon used, and GST invoice details. Card, UPI, and net banking details are collected and stored by Razorpay, our payment processor, never by us.
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken (e.g. downloads, AI runs), and basic technical data (IP address, browser) for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
• Messages you send us: contact form submissions and support emails.

How we use it

To run the product: authenticate you, save and render your resumes, run AI extraction/rewrite/ATS scoring, process payments and issue GST invoices, respond to support requests, and secure the service against abuse. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it.

AI processing

When you use AI extraction, rewrite suggestions, or ATS scoring, the relevant resume text and/or job description is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. That text is processed to serve your request only. It is never used to train any AI model, ours or the provider's.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the vendors that run the service on our behalf, under their own confidentiality and security terms:

• Firebase (Google): authentication.
• Razorpay: payment processing; also shares data with regulators where legally required (e.g. GST).
• Our AI provider: processes resume/job-description text to generate AI suggestions.
• Hosting infrastructure stores the application and database.

We disclose data to law enforcement or regulators only when legally required to. We never sell your data to third parties.

Retention

We keep your account and resume data for as long as your account is active, so you can come back and keep editing. Financial records (invoices, transaction history) are kept longer where tax law requires it, in anonymized form once an account is deleted. Deleting your account erases the rest.

Your rights

You can access, export, or correct your resume data anytime from your dashboard. It's stored as structured, editable content, not a locked file. To delete your account and personal data, email career@talentmovers.in from your account's email address and we'll permanently erase it, aside from the anonymized financial records noted above.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production data is restricted to the admins who need it to operate the service, and every admin action on user accounts is logged in an audit trail. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your resume and account data as sensitive by default.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, strictly functional, not for advertising or cross-site tracking. No third-party ad or analytics trackers are placed on this site.

Children

TalentMovers is intended for job seekers 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
